Default behavior of inventor files requires the IDW file to be opened, saved and checked-in (using vault) in order for the IDW to use the current/latest version of it's part file. Using the coolorange jobprocessor, we have at least some instances (currently reviewing to see if it's all instances) where out of date PDF files are being exported (& presumably these steps have not been completed manually beforehand). Should (or is there a way to ensure) this occur as part of the coolorange job processor? out of date pdf files are not a good thing.
Thanks for reaching out to us. Do you have $fastOpen enabled in your PDF job? You can try to use $fastOpen = $false and see if this resolves the issue.
so I should change the line:
$fastOpen = $file._Extension -eq "idw" -or $file._Extension -eq "dwg" -and $file._ReleasedRevision
$fastOpen = $false
Yes you can try to set $fastOpen to $false. This helps only if it was set on true before, meaning the file has to meet the requirements: If the extension is IDW or DWG and the file is released state.
