I am considering adding powerVault to the toolbox for my CAD users. Most of my Vault Professional 2019 users are domain users. Will this affect the ability to use powerVault to login and download files?
At the moment the cmdlet Open-VaultConnection does not support Windows Authentication so it is not possible to connect to Vault in e.g. a powerShell ISE. If you start a script or a job from Vault the connection is already there and it is still possible to use powerVault when you use Windows authentication.
Is there any workaround to this? I wondering if we could use some c# code in powershell to create the connection with winauth, would we still need to use open-vaultconnection.
Unfortunately at this moment there is no workaround for this but generally this could be only needed while developing. Afterwards when using this in Vault there is no need for Open-VaultConnection.
