When publishing a document (MS Office, PDF, ...), I would like to publish a document without any attachment. For example, if I have MS Word document in Vault called xyz.doc, when I run the connector script, I would like the xyz.doc metadata to create a document item in FLC document Workspace, and xyz.abc to be uploaded in the attachment tab. Currently, xyz.doc has to have an attachment (any document type) in order to be published as an attachment. This is redundant, a document is represented by itself and does not need an attachment.
We are currently evaluating this feature request. If i understood this correctly a document should create an item in Fusion Lifecycle without attachments, is that correct?
